Help please! TPC Boston

Hey everyone, I’m taking a trip to Boston this coming October and I was wondering if there’s any possible chance of getting on the TPC Boston? It’s one of my bucket list courses. I’m coming in from Ohio, former club pro (didn’t keep my PGA status though), still play as a pro whenever I’m able to get to qualifiers.

If it’s not possible, what is the best course in the area for me to play that’ll compare? I’d only be able to play one round while in town so want to make it count. Thanks!

The easiest way on to TPC Boston is if you have a MasterCard World or World Elite card. One of the benefits of that credit card program is that you can get on any of the private TPC courses 1x per year.

In general, it's not that difficult a club to get out on - if you don't have the card, call them up and see what the options are.

If you cant get on TPC Best views of Boston and real close to city you can play granite links. Always in real good shape but a little quirky. Great spot to grab dinner/drinks after your round too.

If you dont mind 45-60 min ride head down to PineHills in Plymouth. One of the best public tracks in MA.

October is the perfect time for a New England golf trip - beautiful scenery and many of the private courses aren't crowded (so are more flexible if you can have a pro call).

The public courses are all described somewhere in here. Aiming high would be Myopia Hunt or Essex on the north shore; New Seabury just over the bridge on the cape (9 holes along the ocean - won't get that in Ohio :), easier may be International Oaks on the 495 belt (up the road from TPC) and Plymouth CC (my favorite Ross par 69 after Wannamoisett).

Aw man, the boss needs to give you two days!
