What’s sad is seeing so many others supporting this type of abusive behaviour.

I posted a congratulatory message on an amazing Tiger win, I openly admitted Tiger proved me wrong and made me a believer… So what gives you or anyone the right to openly abuse me in this way?

Tiger with still a lot of hard work to do, took these opportunities and finished like the champion he is and thoroughly deserved this amazing win. This win is not only great for Tiger, golf in general, but those Tiger fans like me that don’t wear rose-tinted glasses and judge him on what he’s able to do today. Today he made myself a believer that he could win even more majors. How many more, I’m not sure, but today was historic, and you brought a smile to my face that I haven’t worn for sometime. Thank you Tiger.

Very similar to 1986 Masters. He beat some of the hottest players in golf over the last year. I think he will gain a lot of confidence from this on top of the confidence he gained in beating McIlroy & Rose at the Tour Championship.

Golf is hard. Augusta is tough. Add some final round pressure. Not sure how guys can purposely just miss shots and make the “fix” look good.

> For one: Fransisco did choke, it's inexcusable to put it in the drink TWICE on the back 9... Especially with the way he was hitting the ball all weekend.

>

> Two: Tiger was not an A with the driver... He missed a good amount of fairways. That said, he made some incredible escapes but also had luck on his side. I am telling you the golf gods shined down on him multiple times with where his drives landed after heading into the trees (right and left). His irons are what propelled his win. Period. He did get better with the putter from Thursday and Friday.

>

> Lastly: He just knows Augusta like very few. He placed tee shots best he could and played approach shots in the correct spots. This was clear as crystal the back 9 today. After Fransisco did the unthinkable and played the extremely unsafe shot with the shorter iron and went into the drink. Tiger saw his opportunity to make this tournament HIS. From there it was all a plan to use his years of experience and previous wins; Played drives on 13,15, 17 and 18 right where they needed to be, iron shots were safe but left him makable putts, and he hit his tee shot on 16 in the exact precise location to use the slope, knowing 100% what it was going to do.

>

> Unbelievable, but even with this great round, it is fair to say, this was Fransisco's tournament to lose, and that's exactly what he did. He doesn't go in the water , TWICE. That's a choke in my book. Play to the **** center...ughhh. It got Phil, it got Spieth, and now Molinari. He makes the birdies he made and plays safe... He wins by 1 posting -15.

>

> It didn't happen, glad to see Tiger win... His demeanor has changed for the better which I love and used to hate about him. Very cool to send his kids see him close another major... After 8 years. Not a Tiger Fan, but give credit where it's due... He earned this.

Molinari definitely choked on the back nine. His scrambling on the front nine was pretty amazing despite poor ballstriking by his very high standards. Koepka also made a huge mistake at 12. Arguably the two best players in the world over the last 18 months and both showed a crack in the armor today. They are beatable for Tiger and the other guys.

While the win was great for Tiger. I wasn't surprised. If Tiger was going to win another major it was going to be the Masters. The others are a different story but wouldn't put it past him. He won 4 times before at Augusta. They usually put the pins in traditional spots on the greens and a 4 time winner could put them blind. He knows where to hit almost every shot safely and the 15 green proved it. I bet Koepta is kicking himself for not making birdie on the 18th

From the get go, TW seemed content to bide his time, not take chances, and see if mistakes were made

It paid off bigtime ; )

What do you expect from golfwrx? I am the same way. Big Tiger fan since I watched him win the 97 Masters. Watched him win at Firestone in person many times. But after his back surgery, I very much doubted he would win anything again. Tiger even said he was not sure he would be able to play again let alone compete on tour. Then after last season I was believer again that he could win a major. He struggled last year though when old Tiger probably would have pulled ahead for good. All criticism was warranted. That what you get when you are one of the best. I would say Fowler is now my favorite, but still a huge Tiger fan, always will be. I still have yet to see a better shot than that 6 iron on the 72nd hole at the Canadian Open.

Ok......when was the last time he led the field @ ANGC in greens? 02?

Point being ,yes he's the greatest iron player ever BUT you don't hit 80+% without your A game

You can have your A game on the irons and struggle in other areas. Tiger's putting was nowhere close to his best this week I don't think. Look at ballstriking machines like Stenson and DJ who seem to miss a ton of makeable putts.
