Orlando golf review of guys trip

I just got back from guys trip in Orlando. We played 6 different courses this year. Couldn’t get on one of my favorites El Cap at Mission inn because a event.

 

Day one- 1st 18..Royal St. Cloud. I really liked this course. Nice layout and condition.

Day one- 2nd 18...Harmony. Nice clubhouse and good lunch. Another nice and affordable track. Great combo for tune up. I recommend both.

Day two- 1st 18. Champions Gate international. Great layout and challenging from blues. Pricey but lots of fun.

Day two-2nd 18..Champions Gate national. I thought this was one of the worst tracks I’ve played in Orlando. Boring and not great condition. Only like $68 but there are better choices.

Day three-1st 18..shingle creek. This place was really nice. Expensive but nice. I would put that equal to international.

Day three-2nd 18...celebration. I didn’t think this was worth the money. No gps on carts and tees were in terrible shape. I could see that it might be a fun club to join as the clubhouse and practice area was cool. The course is a decent layout but they need to upgrade carts and tees. Overpriced in my opinion.

 

International and shingle creek were the best and were my worst rounds bit still enjoyable. The staff at all clubs were nice and helpful. Weather was perfect!

 

I think we are getting too old (over 50) to play 36-36-36 getting up at 5am and playing until dark. Lots of pain reliever and groaning each morning but still lots of fun.

wow sounds like a great golf trip! I am thinking about doing an Orlando trip myself pretty soon. any other courses that you thought about going to but didn't?
