I'm flying into grand rapids end of may to drive up to play arcadia bluffs. I can fit one round in on the drive up. Whats the best course to play between grand rapids and arcadia bluffs?

Pilgrims Run is solid. Hemlock is another good choice - right on the most direct way up.

Arguably overpriced, bad food, and a general aura of snobbery. Been 2x, poor experience both times. After talking with Tully members I’ve heard that my experiences have been flukes, but nonetheless I still can’t recommend it.

+1 for Hemlock. Put it somewhere else (great land there, but in the middle of nowhere and no water views to overcome that) and build a fancy clubhouse and it would probably be very highly rated.

Hemlock is great. The $30 weekday walking rate is insane given the quality of the course. I always walk off that course super jealous. We don’t get courses like that in the Chicago area and we definitely don’t get them that inexpensive.

Hemlock is so great and so underrated, but I'm a huge fan of Raymond Hearn. His designs are unique and challenging. The front nine at Hemlock uses all that sand in a way unlike any other course I know of in Michigan. Great value too.
