Refinished Taylormade Spider Ghost S

I bought a Taylormade spider a year ago. It was white and black. I hated the white so I spray painted it black. The black paint kept flaking off. Tired of re-painting every week, I decided to refinish it. I tried everything (acetone, sanding etc.) I finally went back to my old high school metal-work shop and used their sandblaster to remove all the paint. It came out looking great but somewhat unfinished. I decided to polish the bottom then I bought some enamel paint and applicator bottles off amazon ($20 for everything). Overall the project wasn't difficult. The most time consuming part of the project was the sandblasting, it took about 4 hours. The reason it took so long was because it was a weak sandblaster, which worked in my favour as it didn't strip any weight off. I am very happy with how the putter turned out. I did similar to a well worn TaylorMade White Smoke IN-12 but blasted the entire face as well. I'd planned on painting the entire "insert" area of the face, but ended up just doing paint fill on the recessed lines and it turned out surprisingly well for a beat-up $20 putter. I'd post pics but it currently resides in my travel bag that stays at my parents' house in KY in case I don't have room when driving up with an SUV full of kids.
