Scotty Cameron - is this legit?

I’ve been offered a Select Newport 2, but with no COT. Seller states it comes from a European Tour player.

 

What do you think?

That putter is 100% authentic.

Well damn, the fakes are really good. That is a sweet pristine putter.

Here’s is the one I picked up from a yard sale.

I removed the circle T weights and had lead tape on the bottom to hide the stamping.

This putter is nothing like the one the OP posted. The fonts are wrong and order of the words are different. Paint fill is sloppy. Unfortunately the putter in this post is definitely a fake. The putter **carlemilva** posted looks to be legitimate.

The circle T and Scotty font on the face are engraved and not hand stamped. I always thought Cameron tour putters were hand stamped. Learned something today.

The one the OP posted is definitely real. The other one pictured in this thread is an easy to spot fake and shares no characteristics to the one from the OP.

That's what Cameron and the Studio techs did back in the day. Some putters have engraved Circle T markings now. I don't know what the percentage is but I would venture to guess half or more are now engraved Circle T.
