First blade set (non one-length) to go 5-7 irons at same length of 37.25"? I wonder if they did this because its what Woodland does. I guess we gotta email them. This is definitely not a common thing amongst blades as far as stock lengths. There is a substantial jump in length in the long irons.

 

Maybe its a typo??? But they are the specs direct from Wilson's site.

It’s the new six length set. It’s for the guys who can’t do one length but don’t want eight length. Personally I’m waiting for the three length set.

That’s gotta be a typo. The half inch progression takes it right to the 4 iron. Great looking blade however

In fact the extra spin on them makes them curve to precisely the line I need them to be on. They will never go in a water hazard or penalty area and it is always better to be 5 yards shorter in the long rough so you can get more kick than land on the fringe where your ball will stop dead.

When I saw MNG reviewing these I was SURE they wouldn't be in LH...outstanding!!

You're not going to see that much difference in performance brand to brand on this kind of club. They're going to do what the lofts say they do. The differences are going to be looks and sound for the most part, and that's really subjective, but it sure does seem like A LOT of people do like the look and sound of Wilson Irons.

Hit them just as good as any other clubs he's tested.

Mizuno MP 32 ? They were extremely forgiving for a Blade "Cut Back" design iron....... I miss that iron.

Hi Bob,

We just received an answer from IT department about your feedback.

Indeed, they confirmed that the website's technical informations on the Staff Blade irons custom set lengths are incorrect for the 5 & 6 irons.

Please note that the 5 iron has a length of 38.25 and the 6 iron has a length of 37.75.
