3AM bathroom question...

On a drivable par 4 your tee shot lands in the rough short of the green, bounces in the rough and hops out on to the green.

 

Do you count that as a fairway hit? Yeah I know, start thinking about a cure for cancer or how to get world peace but this is how my golf obsessed mind works.

That's 100% a fairway hit. It doesn't matter how the ball gets there (just like your score), it's only a matter of where it finishes. As far as a tee shot goes, hitting the green on your par 4 tee shot counts as FIR and a GIR.

I have a concern I would like to share. Earlier in the week, I was given a "CLUBWRX" badge, and then a day later it was removed, gone.

 

Maybe "they" took it away after I posted about Phil and Bones??

Not sure I can make that promise. Having to go see that doc start with turn your head and cough which is nowhere as much fun as threads with Fergie.

 

Will have to go look at the P&B post but thinking the site realizes the magnitude of your ability and they were too humbled to bestow such a lesser honor than you'd deserve.
