Cobra King LTD users......

Great, I'd like to see what your results are. I just have the stock Rogue black shaft, I'd like to try some alternatives. For example the HZRDUS Yellow has been great for me paired with the Epic/Rogue heads. I don't know if it would work with the LTD, and I dont have a Cobra tip for it. I reached out to a Cobra fitter for feedback but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. ..

Interesting development to add to this thread. I bought a used LTD Black a month ago and had something start rattling around in it while using it the second time out. Open it up and it’s a big chunk of black epoxy. Weighed it. Just over a gram.

I used my dental mirror to look inside the head through the spaceport. There is clearly a large amount of epoxy on the soleplate right behind the face and a piece sheared off of it. I took a picture as best I could.

Demoed the standard ltd at a range over 3 years and fell in love with it but never made a purchase. At the Milwaukee golf show a month ago I saw a couple(new) and the vendor said $155, I offered $140 plus told him to keep the headcover but he passed. Found a new one still wrapped up including headcover and accessories on ebay for $125 so after 3 years we are back together.

Such a awesome driver plus it's just like I remember. Sits perfectly, flights great and rolls a country mile when the ball hits the turf. Just happy to finally get one after that day on the range. I think $125 new was a great price for such a good looking performance beast compared to the last couple of years releases minus the f-9, which in itself looks/sounds phenomenal.

What shaft are you using in it? The stock shaft hasn’t worked for me and don’t know a fitter in our area that would fit me without trying to sell me on a new club first.

It came with the stock rogue but I threw in a matrix red tie mfs 60X4. Rotate between them.

I have a regular LTD with a Ozik Black Tie shaft in it tipped 1" and that thing is lethal. I am high ball hitter so I loft it at 9*. I have gone to GG to test it against the F8+ and the new F9 and neither of them can go as long or straight as the LTD. I got mine off ebay from global golf shipped for $95. It has a couple scratches on the crown so I may look for another head but the LTD whether it be mine or a new head will stay in my bag for quite some time

I picked up a demo Callaway Epic Flash 9* set +2 and the launch is too low. I tee it high or low and hit it solid and long with low pull draws as my miss. I compared it to the Subzero on a monitor and its only 3 yards longer with 10.5* spin numbers still high. I am a low launch/high spin 98-100 mph with quick tempo player so it was recommended I pickup an LTD (inexpensive) as its supposed to combat those two issues better than other drivers. It is now set on 10.5*, probably the loft that the Epic Flash should be. Love the shorter length, 45" and look of it and the fact that there is not as many adjustments. Anybody have the same issues and have some thoughts, feedback or tips that you would so kindly pass along?
