What is Golf's rank of importance in your life right now compared to other stuff?

It is pretty much #1 on the list at the moment. I am also a single dude in my 20's, so I might as well get as much focus on golf in as I can. If I ever luck into a serious relationship, I hope that I can bump that to #1, but I'm not 100% sure how that will go. Work got pushed back to #2 after I spent most of my summers on the road for 4 years and didn't get to play hardly at all. Luckily I am in the office most of the time now.

I have a 2 and 7 year old, so the time I used to spend practicing and playing is spent with the kids. Luckily the 7 year old has an interest in playing. I wish I could play more just for my own well being.

High on my list. Played in High School, College, tried pros, and am trying to gear up to play high level amateur events......However.....

Tonight instead of playing in my club's golf league I am going to see Avengers: End Game. Instead of playing in a club event the weekend of the Masters (Saturday) I stayed home and watched the Masters. The only time I don't play on the weekend is if the wife and I have plans or I have yard work I want to do. I refuse to pay someone to do something I can do, and I like my yard and house to look nice, so I will take half a day or a full day off from golf for that.

It's my favorite hobby. I try to do something golf-related every day, even if it's just taking a few practice cuts in the back yard.

3) Exercise (Soccer and Basketball mostly). I played soccer in college and it remains a big part of my life, but it's been getting smaller as I've gotten older and none of my kids are into Soccer.

Right now its pretty close to everything to me. After my family and my job, its pretty much #1. Im not into watching sports (other than soccer) like I used to be, am not into cars or bikes like I used to be.

For me its family, job, golf and honestly, I dont really care about the job other than making enough money to be able to afford to play golf.

I will respectfully disagree with that last part, unless you're good enough to make a living at it. I'm just shy of 50, my wife is 53, the kids are all out of the house, and we've got our lives fully back to ourselves. I play at least seven 18-hole rounds a week this time of year through fall, a lot of them with my wife. That's the benefit to having kids early rather than late, you're not 60 when they get out of the house and your life becomes your own again.

Big part of my life. I played a lot when I was younger, played on the HS golf team. Had kids, got away from the game for awhile except the occasional drunken charity scramble. Got bitten by the bug again a few years ago when my brother talked me into playing a round. Two years ago, my wife started playing, and now enjoys it almost as much as I do. The club we are members at is great, lots of good friends there. I'm playing far more golf than I ever have, a lot of it with my wife, and loving every minute of it. My two oldest sons are now starting to get into the game, which makes it even more fun.

Funny you just quoted this and I got a notification...

 

My baby girl was born 11 days ago, and I've hit the range 3 times and played 3 rounds of golf already in that timeframe.
