Real or Fake - Odyssey O Works Black 3T Welded Neck

I picked this O Works Black 3T up and wanted an outside opinion. I have searched for anything on this guy and have found nothing. As you will see it has a welded neck. There is no printing on the shaft or shaft band. The center well has no paint fill (I added a pin strip sticker to assist with alignment). Came with an Elite grip and magnetic head as shown. Let me know your thoughts.

Looks like someone bought a regular 3T and had a neck welded on. They stripped the paint aswell....blasted it. Its not the prettiest weld but its a cool little stick you have there.

I dont have a clue if it was tour issue or not. I doubt it

O-Works can be had for almost nothing these days. I can't imagine a fake. I think you have a very unique authentic putter. Keep it and enjoy.

Its an aftermarket job. It also has an RSX insert instead of the O Works insert. The heel of the insert looks damaged as well.

^ I don't think the heel of insert is damaged, it's just from a model like the RSX 001 where it changes shape at the heel

Who ever welded that should try to turn the voltage down about a volt or so. No surface cracks. The weld is acceptable, it isn't the best weld bead but should be good for putting. (sorry, my CWI hat was on)
