Do I have what I think? Odyssey White Hot Pro 3

Ok guys, so I have the option of acquiring a few Odyssey White Hot Pro 3's. I want to know if they are the rare, highly sought after Patrick Reed/Tommy Fleetwood models. What do you experts think?

That’s a 2.0 version, I have never seen a #3 in 2.0 before. Apparently there may be a difference between the inserts of the original WHP and the 2.0 versions. I like the feel of both.

 

I’m sure this is a great putter, but since they have begun to make them in the 2.0 line, I doubt they will become particularly valuable.

After looking at my wife's original #3 this is the newer 2.0 as others have said. Different, darker finish and insert. $100 putter. A good $100 putter though imho.

These aren't the original sought after model 3.

^^^ The originals had a grey finish and said Pro on the face. This is a black finish 2.0 version.

Been looking around myself for one of the original #3's. They are sweet putters. Only place you see them are on ebay once in a while. I usually watch them and even dropped a bid on some but always lose out once they get over $500. Been following one but it's in Japan for $640 or something like that.

It's a great putter and probably one of my all time favorites. I have seen nothing that indicates the insert is different between the pro and pro 2.0

I've had both and there's nothing wrong with the 2.0, but it's a very different feeling insert. It still rolls it good, just has a mushier feel with less feedback imo.

Hoping to get some answers from this thread. Are there many differences between the original WHP and the WHP 2.0? i've been gaming a WHP 2.0 #3 for a few years now and enjoy it (most of the time) but a buddy of mine offered me a WHP #6 if I wanted it. I've never rolled the original before - is that there much of a difference?

There's a definite difference in feel between WHP #3 and WHP 2.0 #3 imo.  I've never seen or tried a #6.  The original WHP insert is firmer/more resilient.   2.0 is mushy and cheap feeling.

2.0 has the Odyssey spiral on the face instead of "PRO" right?
