Wet and/or cold seems to cause the batteries to drain a little faster. Even so I've not had a problem making it through 18 holes.

I have a 4 wheel CaddyTek and there is no problems with the turning radius. Obviously, a 3 wheel Rovic type cart has a better turning radius, but the last time I checked, golf courses are not full of tight turns. Not once have I ever wished I had a different cart with my system.

I’ve played 27 holes with it so far hooked up to my CaddyTek EZ fold. My battery could’ve easily done this and more on one charge. First time out I felt like I was babysitting it. Next time out seemed better as I became accustomed to it. If my wife played more, getting the more expensive smaller trolley might be required due to the space of 2 bags, 2 carts, and 2 ewheels. That’s a lot of space. 2 bags and 2 carts like Powakaddy C2i would take up way less space. Overall, though, it’s grown on me and I’ll keep using it.

Pros:

-Price vs others (in the US) - those in the UK are spoiled!

-Send ahead distance feature

-Cruise control for hills

-Lots of storage in your choice of push cart

-Wide push cart = stable on the side of hills

Cons:

-Remote falls off magnet repeatedly when reaching for stuff. Maybe a different mounting location could help.

-WIDE push cart (made wider with ewheels brackets) means narrow bridges or ropes are hard to navigate.

-Hard to dial in the front wheel to track straight (but it is possible).

-Fixed front wheel is hard to turn at speed so you need to slow it down to turn.

-Only 3 speeds, maybe 4? Can’t tell because it is not indicated anywhere.

-Takes up lots of space in the trunk with the ewheels and your push cart (sans rear wheels).

For those interested in the battery life, I played 25 holes with my ewheels last week - stopped due to darkness and it was still showing one light.

I play on a mountain course and finally got to test mine last week. Two 9 hole rounds so far without recharging. I'm playing again tomorrow and will use without recharging to test the battery.

So far: Man this thing is awesome! I finished both 9 hole rounds feeling so much better than if I had pushed or carried. I'm going to walk the whole 18 soon since that back 9 was so easy. The front is so up and down with the mountain that we might have 2-3 walk it per week. I really think I can walk it now so will try soon.

As others have said tho... this thing with a fixed front wheel doesn't steer very well. I really had to keep pushing the remote constantly the first time. This last time, I just slowed it down or stopped it and raised the front wheel up and hit the remote to steer. It really wasn't bad that way.

I've got the Clic Gear 3.0 for those wondering. I have the Wheelie bars coming and after playing the least hilly side I'm betting I'll need them for the walk up to the second hole here.

Over all... I'm sold and my walking buddy is ordering him one lol.

I have 2 carts, one with a fixed wheel (Clicgear 3.5) and one with 2 fixed wheels (Caddytek One V4). I've decided to use the Caddytek going forward as its lighter and turns easier while also being less top heavy which avoids the need for wheelie bars. The Clicgear wants to tip more often probably due to its heavier top end.

Ok guys... I charged fully when I received the club booster and I've played three 9 hole rounds now. Yesterday was the third 9 on a charge. On the second hole the battery died! That means it only made 19 holes total! I have charged again and will test again in the next couple of weeks to make sure it isn't the battery. My initail thought... that was not good.

Anyone else have this issue?

Last week I got 27 holes out of mine and there was still life left - it was down to 1 light so I don't know how much longer it could have kept going.

I did not. Keep forgetting / not priority as I haven't played more than 18 with it. I do want to get one. just Lazy and don't want to spend the $. I did get the new wheelie bars and the Ewheels trunk bag. Haven't installed the bars yet. Will need it soon for Bethpage Black. :)

Yep, but I just gorilla glued them and have had no problems since.

Any partic reason to sell?

I love mine on my rovic rv1s. Battery easily lasts 27 holes even in the wet conditons weve had.

I highly recommend the wheelie bars. Also highly recommend a swivel front wheel. Anything with a fixed front wheel (clicgear) turns like s*** unless the course is dry and firm. I also own a clicgear abd hsve compared.

My clicgear does turn slightly better then my rovic with the front wheel locked as its more rigid. However the free wheel mode is unbeatable and theres no real downside imo.

I bought my cart refurbished and on a full charge have got 27 holes easily. However I notice once the light hits about 3 lights the speed of the cart seems to slow down a lot. Has anyone else noticed this? Also for people having problems with battery lasting could be due to weight of your bag. At first my bag was really heavy and it would get just over 18. Went to a lighter bag and removed alot of extra junk balls and now battery is at half when it was dead before.

Yes, I’ve also had this problem with my eWheels. But it seems to have fixed itself when I accidentally forgot to turn off the power after a round of golf. The battery drained to absolute zero and when I charged it the following week it seemed to move faster when the battery was down to 2 lights
