Jones Carry Bags

Hello!

I'm close to ordering a Jones Carry bag and just wanted some feedback from folks who have one. The ONLY thing that I'm really hesitant about is having his bag for those rounds where you MUST ride (subbing for a golf league, weekend rounds with friends where we drink a lot, etc...). Any Jones carriers have thoughts on strapping up the bag to the back of a cart? Do the clubs give it enough structure so that it's not slouching and such?

I haven't tried strapping my Jones Original on the back of a cart, but there is a thread around here of someone who has/does that on occasion.

If you put the strap right through the handle, the bag will keep it's structure, and will have no issues with it. Although I rarely ride, I have used a non structured original jones on a cart and didn't think it was any different than other other Sunday bag that is structured. Sure, it's small, but I saw no issues with getting clubs in and out.

Light weight, with storage room, and very good looking. Best Jones bag made.

ive used my jones trouper bag on a couple of carts recently it works fine. i even slip it through the shoulder straps in addition to the handle strap.

only complaint i have though is that with the trouper bag one of the leg stands seems to always get caught in the rope strap at the bottom after being strapped into the cart. so when you remove it from the cart and try to stand it up, just make sure the legs come out otherwise everything comes crashing down. the first time it happened i caught myself before it came toppling down. the seconds time i didnt act fast enough and some of my club heads got smacked around pretty good.
