Shaft Extractor...looking for one, what do you have? What do you recommend?

I picked up this one. It works awesome. Pulled a full set of graphite shafted irons yesterday in about 10 minutes. Super smooth.

firstbatch, that diy hydraulic puller of yours looks excellent. I did almost the exact same build as well (vise and jack same from harbor freight). My metal connector piece is not nearly as nice and thick as yours and has a tendency to bend some while pulling. It gets the job done but wish I could machine a metal piece like yours.

No real machining required. It’s just a block of 3/4” thick aluminum in a stock width of 2.5” and cut to 6.5” long. These stock aluminum blocks are available on eBay. The notches are simply 3/4” that can be cut with a band saw. The jack has the screw extension which makes it simple to clamp around with the bolt and the top piece of the jack screw is wider then 3/4” so the jack screw can clamp the aluminum block down snug. I added the pinch bolt thru just to make it more rigid.

Hello, can you please tell me what the arm is made out of? The silver block of metal that puts pressure on the hosel?
