thoughts on Adidas Forgefiber BOA?

Walked first 18 in these. Really comfy. Feet never hurt, was Dewey (word?) In the morning. No issues there. Walked in sand most of the day (all the paths and walkways Sandy), and cruised in.

Got a pair coming, picked them up for $109 shipped. I am an Adidas golf shoe fan. Have had Adipower Boost, and Now Adipower boost 3. Big fan of the Adidas Boost soles. Also got a good deal on some Ecco Bio Hybrid 3 that are also very comfortable, but wear them in cooler and wet weather. And now a big fan of the BOA system. Looking forward to these forgefibers with BOA.

The Adidas boa is great and shoes are super comfy. Way more comfy then any pair of Nike golf shoes I’ve ever owned. Cant go wrong with these shoes. My only downside to these shoes. The boa system failed and I think it’s because I threw them in the washer to many times. I highly recommend to not put these in the washer. Clean it by hand. I have to wait almost a month now for my adidas gift e-card.

I checked with Adidas, the say follow the same procedure for cleaning sneakers: https://www.adidas.com/us/blog/342727-how-to-clean-running-shoes

Only thing in the washer is insoles and laces. I have done like you in the past and put my sneakers in the washer. I may have washed a pair of Adipower Boost in the washer. I guess I wont for this new pair.

I had a pair of the Addidas BOA from a few years back.

My complain is, the lace seemed to come a little loose wafter walking a few hole. No big deal but annoying.

The one thing you should pay attention to is after a few weeks of using the BOA lacing system, if there is squeaking sound coming off the lace rubbing the shoe. Mine had a loud squeaky sound especially after it gotten a little wet from the morning dew. Load enough for my playing partner to look around to see where the noise is coming from.

I called the customer service and they asked photos of the shoes and the proof of purchase. After a few email exchange , all they offered is to let me send back the shoes ( at my own cost which is more than $20 ), then they would consider if they will make compensation or not.......

I'll never buy another pair of Adidas. This is coming from a guy whom started his first pair of Adidas in the 70's and currently owns 2 pairs of the golf shoes they produced.

I'll be wearing the squeaky Adidas BOA often and everytime someone looking around to find the source of the noise, I would make sure they know where it came from.
