Playing tips/notes for Berkeley CC?

I realize this is fishing, but maybe things will align and I'll get some decent info. I'm representing my club in a couple weeks at Berkeley CC, and I've never played there before and I won't be able to get a practice round in - so I'll be playing the course for the first time. I'm asking for any local knowledge on the course you guys might have to share. Anything beyond the basic "hit it in the fairway" is appreciated. Bail-out areas, safe sides, don't go long on #X, that kind of stuff. I understand there are a lot of elevation changes to account for. I did try to gather some [youtube videos into a playlist](

Good luck. I know another guy playing in the NCGA zone there as well. Sorry that I can't help you with it - the last time I played there was before their renovation years ago.

Played several years ago (when it was named Mira Vista).

 

Imperative to hit the fairways to score. Greens on the smallish to medium size. Use the long practice green outside the clubhouse to gauge speed.

 

Overall, not a punitive or overly tough course.
