A4 tech (9015d) or cobra L4V are the only acceptable answers.

 

Clubs like the 905R or TMAG heads didn't have "cult" followings. The 905R is one of the most popular drivers of the modern era.

 

The 9015 or L4V were clubs that didn't have mainstream acceptance ( the Adams in particular) but were beloved among cult followings.

 

The 9015 is one of the best drivers ever made and most casual golfers will have never heard of it

This is another one of those topics where the parameters need to be defined. Cult following as in biggest in general or biggest for an otherwise dark horse sort of club? Because to say that the 975D or the '16 M2 has a "cult" following among golfers is like saying that McDonalds has a cult following among burger lovers. That comparison is regarding popularity and is not meant to insult the quality.

 

The first thing that came to my mind was the Adams 9015D for sure.

The 9015D club had jackets...leather with skulls!! Mostly sleeveless, dark tans, tats and bandanas. The Titleist/Taylormade club had clean fitted caps. Big difference. Haha. I agree with above. Parameters need to be tighter.

My moneys on the 9015D in a dark alley or at the pool hall and don’t drink the punch!

Adams 9015D was THE cult following driver when I first joined this group. I had 3 with different shaft combos, still have one that I occasionally take out to the range.
