Xtorsion copper 70TX advice needed

Currently playing the 70X in my M6 that I ordered tipped 3/4”. (Not sure if that means tipped 1.75 or just .75 from TM) Love the general smooth feel of the shaft but it’s a bit loose and going left. I ordered the 70TX today.

 

SS 112-114. Hard transition and early release. 9* M6 launching at 12* 3050rpm’s.

 

What do y’all suggest?

I'm by no means an expert. From my experience with that shaft it does or at least for me did not like a hard transition. Smooth and it performed great.

Look through Tolls low spin shaft thread and the one about the new Aldila shafts.

I think the Copper 70TX plays very loose, delivers excellent ball speed but is a more left biased shaft. I switched from that to a Diamana BF 60TX which is listed at 72 grams and get slightly less kick, maybe slightly less ballspeed, but a more neutral flight in a G400 LST head. YMMV.

Based on the fact that TollBros likened the Xtorsion Copper TX to the Tensei Pro Orange V2, which I have, its really not the best shaft for a hard transition. The loading gets tricky to time for many people.

Agree. Based on the description of your swing, I would say the Copper wouldn't be your best option. Considering your early release and hard transition, something with a stiffer butt and tip should work. If you like counterbalanced feel, try the Pro Orange.

 

In all honesty, your best bet may be to talk with TollBros.
