She has to make a cut before the blooming will start.

As for Judy, I like her. I don't mind Karen, either. Judy doesn't travel out of the U.S., so she's only covering roughly half of the tournaments.

Is that tongue in cheek? Blossom or wither? I think she has 0 earnings this year. I am too lazy to look it up and had asked about her official earnings on another thread but everyone must have saw through my laziness so no one responded. (I don't blame them) She will need to make some cuts and show way better performance to make a believer out of me. Take away the social media and swap her college to say Texas and none of us would probably never heard of her ( notwithstanding her Symetra win in Cincinnati ).Can anyone think of another female golfer who seems to be more struck on themselves?Holly Sonders, Paige Spradosiac and Jimin Kang don't count.

I must have missed the post. Muni has $0 official earnings.

That said, she won on the Symetra Tour, and earned her card in the Q Series. She has every right to me out there trying to keep it. She's certainly not the only player who earned a card in Q Series who is struggling to pick up some cash. Of the 48 players earning cards in 2018, 16 players besides Muni have no earnings this season. An additional 18 have earned less than $20,000. 'Tough way to make a living.

It's been a tough year for Lucy Li. She withdrew from Augusta National Wome's Amateur Championship, even though she's clear of her amateur status by USGA. In fact, she hasn't played any tournaments since November 2018.

She's registered to play USWO qualification in Navato, California next Monday, May 6; a tournament where she rose to fame in 2014 as the youngest to qualify for US Women's Open at age 11.

Best to luck to her, no 16 years old should've encountered so many controversies.

Yes, Judy needs to hang it up, about 10 years ago really. She`s 74 years old for god`s sake, she could be Laura Davies mother, Paula Creamers grandmother, or damn near Nelly Korda`s great-grandmother...

I guess Grant isn't aware of the change yet, because he repeated that Lydia has been with Ted Oh for 2 years in the round 1 broadcast.

Yeah, basically fell off the radar. She hasn't played an event since July 2018 in which she missed the cut for the 7th time in 9 tournaments. 'May have packed up the bags. I could have sworn that I saw her in a KLPGA event recently. I'll have to double check.

Good stuff again. In addition to your comments on Ariya and So Yeon, I think it also shows that Minjee really needs to book some add'l wins. A) It may be coming and B) there are many people that would love to be playing as well as she is. But I think at her level (or at least the potential level assigned to her), she needs to squeeze a bit more out of this given how well she hits it week after week. Of course, much easier said than done....

Seventeen year old Yuka Saso won medalist at USWO Qualifying Tournament held in Atlanta, Georgia on Monday, May 6. Former Amateur world No. 1 Leona Maguire was the other qualifier.

Lauren Stephenson, who has been playing well as a LPGA rookie, missed the cut.

"Alexa Pano drained a 35-foot putt for birdie from off the fringe on the second playoff hole to qualify for her first U.S. Women’s Open. The now 14-year-old Pano first tried to qualify for the Women’s Open when she was only 8 years old. She let loose a rare fist-pump at The Wanderers Club to punctuate the feat.

After six attempts, Pano will finally get her chance on women’s golf’s biggest stage May 30-June 2 at the Country Club of Charleston (S.C.). She actually came two strokes shy of qualifying for the 2013 Women’s Amateur there when she was 8 years old."

I'm looking forward to attending the 2025 US Open. Erin Hills will be a tremendous test and should be filled with golf fans from all over the world. By then, I expect to be navigating the course in a state of the art mobility scooter. The front basket will be filled with Korean treats I can share with Sung Hyun and the Attack Girls.

It feels weird having a three week break in the middle of the season. With the loss of the Volvik, the Kingsmill tournament was shifted a week later. The Texas event moved to October, so we're left with crickets.

It would be nice to see a tournament in North Carolina this time of the year. Either that, or move the Walmart event to mid-May. With four tournaments in the Midwest starting in mid-June (Meijer, Thornberry Creek, Marathon, Dow), it doesn't make sense to swing down to Arkansas in the middle of the run.

Do players drive from Meijer to Thornberry and etc.?

Otherwise, a plane ride is a plane ride; time are spent on waiting. Whether it's getting to the airport, security check, boarding, luggage or getting out of the airport.

The flight time is the least of the concern.

Grand Rapids and Green Bay are both tiny airports. I can't imagine the wait times are huge. However, the major airlines do not have direct flights between the cities, so a plane change in Chicago is needed, making the flight ~3 hours. I'd estimate the total trip to be 5 hours.

It's a 6 1/2 hour drive between the cities. I imagine most players drive.
