Seeing as I’m going on year three with the T1100 unbeatable as a driver gamer, I could not be more excited about this....and, apparently it has green and purple graphics...my favorite color combo. Weeping over here....

HAHAHA. Me too, Gio. And, I understand the profile is an "evolution" of the original T1100 (not surprising). So, it's a sight-unseen purchase for me! You will hear more today per PX...but, there will be options in terms of looks :) ........................

i was seriously hoping this came out while i was still testing for TT/PX...sigh. i can't wait for this version -- the T1100 was ideal if it had a shade more feel to it. if this is that...i'll have to pick up 2 or so for backups.

I have heard it is a super stout profile. I would be willing to guess it will only fit the very hardest loaders of the shaft.

knowing PX and how they do their finishes...i'm sure it will look awesome, especially in the sunlight.

I'm sure it will be top notch, I'm just not one for a lot of color/flash when it comes to shafts.

 

According to the literature there will be a Smoke Grey finish along with the "Gamma PVD" so I'll be in luck.

 

Also, the new material is called Hexcel's HexTow HM63 fiber. PX are the first to use it. Designed to maintain maximum stability and low spin.

So..... I am guilty of having a 100 Holy Grail clubs/shafts/putters, etc. But, this thing might take the cake.... and I've never even swung it (I know, I know)....

The T1100 has been a stalwart in my bag for 3 years. I've thrown EVERYTHING under the sun at it, TPO, WHITE, D+ ACCRA RPG, Fuji shafts galore, and it has been impossible to dethrone.

And, for a guy who has purple and green paintifill in all his clubs (I just love those colors...joker, riddler, hulk....I'm a dork....) the color scheme of this thing has me on my knees in joy. I've had to restrain buying Veylix Rainbow Wildeyes BECAUSE they have this type of color finish. No one uses purple on anything (unless it's womens which I think is so dumb). So, to have a shaft that actually fits me with it.... well, you might be able to call it good and put me six feet under.

Cannot wait to have this thing in the bag.

Quite possibly the single best graphics I've seen on a shaft in well....since I learned who Veylix is....

Such a brilliant idea to do a PVD and a black version, too. I've always been comfortable with louder color gear but I totally get if another guy isn't. To me, stuff like the Oban Purple, Diamana BF, etc., are absolutely awesome. Until now, none of the really fun graphic shafts fit me. But, if this mirrors the T1100 as they say...

Also, these are coming FAST. Hearing late May/early June.

Finally for those that think it's insanely stiff, I really don't think it is. I max out at about 111-112. I've never felt the T11 was "too much." I have a very short and quick action (Finau/Rahm-ish) and it pairs with that incredibly well. I know guys that only move it 275-280 that love the T1100, too.... I think there is so much hype about how stiff it is that it can become mind over matter. Especially in the 60 grams, it's not too bad.
