Ping May 2019 release window - any wedges?

Outside of the new badge for the Glide Forged (which is awesome...), is there any expectation of any new wedges coming up?

I dont know if they can improve on the Glide Stealth 2.0s! Honestly the best wedges I have ever used.

Get fitted, I wish this was true for me given I already play iBlades, but they were way behind the TM Hi-Toes (and the milled grind) in feel and performance for me personally. Try the RTX4's, they are on par with the Glide Stealth 2.0's.

Yeah I'd be interested to know, but I am leaning Hi Toes, too bad the 60* ATV is back ordered until almost June.

Well that sucks. I wish my local shop would've told me that. I just placed an order for the 60* ATV yesterday. SMH

I ordered a set on eBay and the seller contacted me saying that, so might depend on who you're buying it through.

Looks like the Stealths are on sale. That's an imminent indicator that something's coming. 3.0?

From time to time I like to go through the speculation rabbit hole that is the trademark website and lookup PING's recent trademark filings. Some good stuff in here.

 

Looks like they trademarked "Anser 2" "G425" and "iPing 2.0" for I'm assuming a new phone cradle app for putter fittings.

Yep. That's how we know there won't be an 18 month wait for "420s". They'll be 425. Somewhat disappointed because you know it would be a really cool green colour theme.

In the US, price dropped $30 and retailers with PING accounts are still taking custom orders at the $107-109 price point. I ordered a 52 and a 60 with DG 120 with custom specs for no upcharge and the reduced price.

How would Anser 2 not be previously trademarked?

They may be updating or renewing it. It was never given up.

Unfortunately I think so. Probably one of my favorite Hawks but it seems this combo stretch of injuries will cause him to not get medically cleared from any team in the league. Real class act guy and I’d rate him as one of the best undrafted NFL players the league has had

 

Ps....hoping they release new wedges soon my Glides are starting to get worn

Ya I’m hoping to get an idea of what’s to come down the pipeline wedge wise from PING. Would really be bummed if I jumped on the sale for the stealths and they come out with an improved version in a Stealth 3.0

Well, I'm not opposed to playing a Stealth, but the moment provides the most options -- brand new, or going with the proven winners on sale. The stealth 2 is a real winner, but they don't stop improving. Maybe shapes will be more or less appealing. ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
