Push cart bags

I got this Bennington Quiet Organizer 14 cause i hated the clubs clanking crazy in the riding cart, but now that i'm mostly walking with a push cart it has worked out great. The angle issue that you spoke about isn't really present here. The tilt goes the opposite way and is very easy to find a club, no tangle in the bag. I don't think i could go back to a standard bag at this point.

That is the ugliest mess I have ever seen.

@MiniDanzig your post makes a lot of sense to me.

Bag X has worked for me on a push cart.

* No issues on angle,

* Easy to pull clubs,

* No tangle.

* Quiet

* No clatter

I agree it does look messy but the specific solution you proferred addresses the concerns voiced and that's a good thing thanks for posting.

I bought my current bag almost 10 years ago before a time away from the game, and I guess its a "mini" staff bag, but its all synthetic material, and lightweight. But its perfect for the pull cart, and is **** on a drive cart, I have to turn it sideways when we ride because the carry handle is right on the back, and it has pockets on all 4 sides. Its almost designed only to be run on a pull cart. Or be carried by a caddy cause it has no legs on it. My pal has a drive cart specific bag, and when he puts it on the pull cart, all his irons fall over towards his woods which are then on the bottom, I guess he doesn't mind but it drives me nuts to even look at lol. I dont think theres really a do it all perfectly bag, I'll likely buy a proper drive cart bag eventually, because mine really sucks in the car but is perfect on the pull cart and I walk most of the time but dont really wanna carry.

After more than 10 years it may be time for a new bag.

Two important posts. I have been shopping bags to go with a Bag Boy Nitron. Bag Boy and Datrek make bags that lock into place and remove any chance of twist. A bag like the Traverse sits much higher (but potentially can twist).

This is important with respect to the Bag Boy drinkholder. I tested a 32 oz Yeti cup in the drinkholder. Turns out, the Bag Boy and Datrek bags which lock into place sit too low such that my short irons interfere with the Yeti cup. There is plenty of clearance in a bag that sits higher like the Traverse. Admittedly, my short irons are the length of a seven iron (Cobra One Length), but I still prefer the bag to sit higher.

Gift ideas?  Products I have tested.

I really like my combination of a ClicGear 3.5 with the Tour Bag Kit, which makes it stand more upright and a Ping Pioneer bag. Like with other bags, since bag leans towards the back when on the cart, you need to reverse the location of the clubs compared to when you use them on a riding cart. But, the clubs are very easy to access when on the push cart.

This is incredibly simply. You run you woods down one side and never have to reconfigure on push cart vs riding cart or walking.
