Stock Tensi Blue in TS2 Driver - It's really really good

This is crazy but a 58g Stiff not premium not a pro shaft in the stock TS2 is really good.

I had low spin (2100) great launch and fantastic feel.

Just finished a TS2 fitting coming from a M2 with a Tour AD there was no reason to pay any uncharge to a premium shaft with the TS2.

 

Its this a "real" shaft? Will it be stable enough over time?

ive never hit a driver straighter that the TS2 with the stock Tensi - maybe there is something to be said for the SFT in the shaft./

If it works, it works! That shaft is an OEM version but those are getting better all the time.

I have the Tensei Blue in My hybrids and have no complaints at all.

Just to be clear you are talking about the Tensei Blue AV.......It's very different IMO than the original Blue.

I'm gaming the 75 gram version in my Fairway tipped 3/4 & really finding it to be a solid fairway shaft.

I can't speak on the 55 or 65 gram cause the Atmos TS won't be leaving my driver for a long time but the AV 75 is a very nice fairway shaft.

Agreed, I have the Tensei AV 58 in my TS3, and love it. Waaaay more stable than previous “blue” profiles... SFT is great too. I was coming from T800 55 which felt too light all the time. Tensei feels solid and stable no matter what.

I had a Titleist Thursday fitting this week and was recommended the stock Tensei Blue in a TS3 - it really did did go very straight but felt really solid, that SFW seems to be quite something..anyone clarify how it works? It worked just as well if not better in the TS2 15’ fairway - loved it!!

I have a tensei blue pro that I'm going to try in the demo ts3 I have. Have a titleist rep fitting next Tuesday. We'll see how it goes. Hit the demo only.once so far at a range I'm not used to. Will test some more with the 3 shafts that I have. But have a match play round tmw. Not sure if I trust the ts3 enough to play it. But probably will.

I have the stock Tensei Blue 58g in my F9, and I agree. Its a pretty good shaft.

I've tried the AV65 in an Epic Flash and yes, a superb shaft for a no cost option. Very stable and felt good.

For a 58 g shaft, it is very stable, very straight and not going left at all.

I feel the same way about the AV 75......Very familiar BlueBoard Feel but way more stable & very accurate. I can hit cuts, and middle fairway smashes......which is exactly what I want in a 3 wood.

Big improvement from the Non Pro previous model and really IMO better than a the Pro for my setup because it is the proper 77gram weight instead of being so light like the Pro Blue 70 was.

I’m still loving this shaft, certainly combined with the TS3 head - it just seems that the ball sets off on a really strong penetrating and straight trajectory - love it, I think that Titleist have really cracked it with this head and shaft combo!

I just picked up a TS2 with this shaft for $135. How should I expect it to perform versus the Smoke?
