Which club is your "old reliable" when the round goes south?

The most reliable club is often NOT the club that is required to be used. My Cobra King oversized 3-4 hybrid is very reliable but does me no good unless I'm 200 yards out.

Love the Canadian anser! Just bought a Ping G20 driver last night so now its either driver or 5 wood or 58 wedge.Great Thread.

Taylormade Rsi UDi 20*. If I start to lose my driver I go to this and it usually brings my swing back.

Seems like every year I get to where I can't get my driver off the ground. Snap hooks. Happened last year at the time I was heading to Hilton Head. I go to my 5 iron when it happens and I had to use it today off the tee several times. In fact, on the par 5 #18, I hit 5 iron off the tee followed by 8 iron and 60 degree. My buddy told me I would probably score better if I left the driver at home!

F9 7 wood and OS 6 hybrid will be in play. My weak point has always been irons.

Mizuno JPX Fli Hi 19 hybrid. Can keep it low on windy days, run it down the fairway on fast/dry days, hit from almost any lie, punch out from any set of trees, chip with it. When nothing is working, it's usually the least broken club in my bag.

Off the tee I can almost always rely on my P790 UDI. Off the fairway my 7 iron or 60 degree never seem to give me issues.

That's kind of what I always think when this question comes up. The only thing you're guaranteed is to have to hit some form of a tee shot every hole. I could try and all back on my hybrid which is a fairway finder for me, but on a long par 4 using that club could leave me with something over 200 yards in, which is probably not going to help a game that's off the rails.
