Ft Lauderdale week of 1/28/19

Landing Wednesday morning from Atlanta and hoping my clubs make it out of the Atlanta airport with the shutdown/Super Bowl combo...I'm playing 36 at Jacaranda on Thursday and looking to get 18 in on Wednesday. Plantation Preserve is booked until after 2:00 and I need to be at a client dinner by 6:30.

 

What are my best options - public or private (assuming my pro can make the call)? Thanks!

Osprey Point up near Boca is worth the drive if you can make it work.

Jacaranda is beautiful so you're all set there. If you can somehow get on PP, make it happen but Deer Creek (little north) is also very nice. Never golfed Emerald but I hear good things (it's a bit of challenge and long).

Traveling to fort lauderdale next month. Have time for 2 rounds while I'm down there. Are both Jacaranda courses the ones to play or is there something else? Looking to stay under $150 a round. Thanks!

I'd play one round at Jacaranda and one at Plantation Preserve.

If you have time to travel a little I personally think Osprey is nicer than Jacaranda and Plantation Preserve and is a good bit cheaper as well.

which course at Jacaranda should I book?

Depends what you are looking for. East course is longer and a little bit harder in my opinion. West course is shorter but seems to have tougher pin placements.

Ended up playing jacaranda west and trump Doral silver fox. Jacaranda west was in amazing condition and a beautiful course. A definite play. Doral was a very challenging course with all the water.

Doral silver is the real monster at doral.

I found Silver Fox to be the easiest by far of the 3 that we played at Doral.
