New Ben Hogan GS53 Drivers - Anyone had a chance to try them?

I just saw the Ben Hogan released their new GS53 drivers and fairway woods. Has anyone had a chance to try them? If so, how do they compare to other manufacturers current offerings? I didn't see another thread with this discussion, if i missed it, my apologies.

A couple of threads about the release, but honestly I don't think anyone has one yet. I'm waiting intently, because I have a spot for the 4 wood in the bag if it's a winner.

I've been trying to get the demo utility iron and hybrid combo to try but it's been out for weeks. I'm betting the driver and fairway will be in demand with their demo program

I think that is their low launch, low spin shaft. What shaft and driver do you normally play for a comparison.

You should try the Mitsubishi Tensei Blue that they offer. It is a mid launch, mid spin shaft. I need a little bit more spin with my driver set up as well and a shaft like this tends to work better for me since my swing naturally produces low launch/low spin.

I have a 10.5 adjusted to 9.5 with a 6.0 smoke shaft. It's just as long , if not longer and just as straight as my g400 lst but feels,sounds an looks better.

this is a very low spin driver!! at the time I had a 9* m5 with Accra tz6. Won a contest through UST and Hogan.... Got the Hogan GS53 for free and fit for the UST Mamiya Lin-Q shaft. With the m5/tz6 I had launch of 14.5 and 2700 avg spin. With the Hogan and Lin-Q shaft my launch dropped to 13.2 and 2200 avg spin. Ball speeds were equal so I can't say its faster than anything out there

 

But with the hogan my avg carry was 282 vs the m5 at 271. I would compare the Hogan to 410 LST or the TS4. By design its low launch and low spin, not the most forgiving...but when centered you won't find anything better

its every bit as good as anything on the market right now. One thing ill say which is very odd, toe side misses start right and go farther right. Im used to my toe miss hooking to the left but with this a toe miss is not pretty. I typically play straight or a slight draw and aim right side fairway. Overall my experience has been very very good with this driver, but ive been im the right side trees more with this driver than anything else ive played. Heel strikes are forgiving, toe misses are brutal

 

IMO I still like the sound, look, and feel of the m5, but I cant argue with results and Hogan has been much better
