His Ketsch doesn't have the TR grooves. Just the regular grooves from the Anser Milled line.

 

What shaft does he have in his iblades?

He has previously gamed KBS Tour 130X in his irons so I´m pretty sure it´s the same this time around.

 

And to me it looks like the grooves are just stripped of paint. But that might just be me

The guy is a part time golfer and manages to make cuts at major championships. He’s incredible and doesn’t get nearly enough attention. To be one of PING’s head honchos, put in major hours there, and still compete against the best is, honestly, in a league of its own.

I couldn’t say it any better! I hope TG2 is able to get him on again after the PGA is over. I’d love to hear what he has to say!

the LST isn’t that low spinning. I’m sure with the right loft and shaft he can optimize.

Absolutely. They need to do whatever it takes to get him on and have him talk about his WITB and his entire experience at Beth Page.

I've got 2 wonder if that's the Ketsch 4x???

 

It has the TR stamp so I'm confident those have to be the true roll grooves.

Best WITB ever. He's dogfooding like no other golfer/company I can recall. What's great is that Ping is so low key about it. Can you imagine the endless commercials we'd see if Callaway or TM had a similar story to tell?

I golfed for 23 years and never owned a ping club until last year. They represent 11 of my 14 clubs now. I really like the company and the products because of people like Marty.
