It needs to be unlimited. My old list was probably 30-40 members between people who had bst issues and those who were annoying on the forums. And I don’t even buy/sell. I could easily see someone needing over 100 if they used the forums often

I tend To ignore all of the perpetrators in Deal or No Deal disputes. There’s been many over the years.

Graying out their post is a good step forward, but I like the old saying "out of sight, out of mind" . Any way to completely block their posts from view?

Agreed, need the whole thing blocked out not just ghosted

Need to correct the thread title.

Ignore feature hasn't been deployed; just the button for selecting it has.

User posts need to be collapsed with the option to expand. The 'ignored' post/poster is still right there, easy to read, and taking up lots of real estate.

IMO they really need to be collapsed rather than greyed out a little. It doesn't take too many persistent jackholes to spoil the user experience here.

I had 2 pages of ignored folks with the old software - only have one wingnut on my list at the moment.

... LOL, seems like 100 in _**any**_ MB thread. Many are respectful but some are just so arrogant, confrontational and relentless. I follow don't say anything online you would not say to someones face. Too many posters are forum tough guys and as the famous lady so eloquently stated "Ain't nobody got time for this!"

Reposting this. Ignore should be more than just being able to hide comments/posts, but it’s mostly the only way I can keep track of those who I shouldn’t deal with on the BST. Being able to still see their ads doesn’t do much good.

Exactly. We now have an ignore feature that is not an ignore feature.

 

In fact, I’m not sure what it is.

 

Ignore should really mean HIDE. I don’t want to see any content from a jackwad who earns an ignore.

This still only greys out posts - everything is still really really obvious to read.

Is it that the new forum doesn't support the useful ignore we used to have? If so I will quit checking in here and just know to curtail my use of the site accordingly. Thanks!
