Can we ban the flipping of limited Nike golf shoes?

Flipping of limited Nike shoes is a known problem, but now it's becoming a problem with their golf shoes. Not uncommon to see them being listed here for 2.5x+ retail price. Forum has limited resale of nike shoes purchased from Burlington and the like. Is there a chance for doing the same thing their limited edition golf shoes?

I’m not even reselling any but this sounds like a grumpy old man post. If someone has a pair they want to get rid of and the market bares a certain price then who cares. If you don’t want them don’t look at the ad, right? It would be one thing if there was a ton of BST ads selling them but there really aren’t. I’m honestly not trying to be a d*** here but come on. This sounds a lot like a “stay off my lawn” post.

Short answer - no.

 

This has been brought up many times before and we are not going to do this for a number of reasons. Mostly, to be blunt, we arent going to spend the time policing this. It applies to any item - shoes, clubs, ballmarkers, putters, Cameron bags, tour items, limited edition shafts - whatever, this list is endless. If someone buys something for $100 and wants to sell it for $300 - great. Buy it or dont. Plus, we have no way of knowing what someone paid for an item. If they were given a pair for free and sell it for MSRP - they are making way more money than the guy that sells for a 50% markup.

 

The BST economy takes care of these listings pretty easily. If they are way overpriced, its on page 4 in about a day.
