Hi.

Plastics are indeed ubiquitous, but of course that doesn’t mean they are good for the environment. And there are many derivations of ‘synthetics’ and plastics, some of which degrade in the landfill, and some that don’t.

Hello. I am sorry that you are disgusted.

I was responding to Ferg, who wrote that both how we use plastics, and the ideas of what it means to be a ‘man’ have changed. That is why I stated my opinions on both of those issues. I don’t think that I built any bridges.

We had "Dialing for Dollars" movie program at three.

Then they gave the timeslot to Oprah and Western Civilization collapsed about a week later.

Plastics have revolutionized the world and the game of golf.

That ball you play with - plastic.

That bag - plastic.

Shoes - plastic.

Socks - plastic.

Hat - plastic.

Water bottle - plastic.

Golf Cart you ride - the body is FRP.

If there is a manual, pamphlet or APP regarding the guidelines for neoteric masculinity, please sent it my way.

I don’t understand your argument. I mean, nuclear bombs revolutionized war but I’d rather the Earth be free of them. And I couldn’t care less if plastics revoultionized the game of golf. It’d still be fun (for me) if we all had to play with wood and stone.

As far as masculinity goes - there is no manual, no one way to be a ‘man’. That is my point.

You are witty, but your arguments don’t make much logical sense.

We did too bc, the picture was always great if parents were watching Lawrence Welk, but during golf or Man from U.N.C.L.E. you had to adjust the rabbit ears with the change of the wind. An unwritten law said duct tape was only used for duct work back then, and besides, when you set the antennas in the new ideal spot, the picture freaked out as soon as you moved away from the set. Apparently your body had some needed transmitter ions through which the picture funneled happily.
