Titleist 718 irons price reduction date?

I know that the new titleist stuff normally starts coming out on tour in June/July. So does anyone know when the existing 718 irons will start getting discounted online/in store?

Titleist releases irons to the pros usually around the U.S./British Open, in that 3-4 week window, and then retail hits the shelves typically in late September to early November. Don't look for any significant price drop until the new stuff comes out. Even then, most retailers around me only drop the irons $200-250 and the Vokey wedges like $40. Personally, the savings on it isn't worth it to me if I lose out on customization such as shaft, grip, and length at the minuscule discount.

I feel the same way as phatchris. Unless you plan on getting standard length/lie, standard SET MAKEUP of 7 to 8 pieces (3/4-pw/GW), stock shaft which is AMT black and stock grip (white filled TV 360) than wait for price drop. After changing out grips or changing specs like shorter length or lie adjustment the savings will be gone.

I best sell my 718 AP1s soon before the price drop. Great clubs, total cannons, but I'm used to forged and more compact irons. These were an experiment for me, but just not what I need.

TGW is already offering a bit of a discount for Memorial Day on the 718 irons
