I’ll echo what mumuland said: Zcord Align is slightly smaller and the Align rib is barely noticeable. On the midsize, I had to add 2 wraps of painters tape to get to the same size as the MCC Mid Align. Even then the size is still slightly smaller under the top hand. I liked the overall feel, but likely will stick with the MCC Mid Align. Easier to install and I can feel the rib which is the whole point of having the Align feature. Real golf is still 2 weeks away so a real test is quite a ways away.

Just bought a used set of z945's in great condition and will need to regrip.

What is the feedback on these grips after months of use?

If you were a full bag ZGRIP Cord guy before using these which one would you ultimately choose?

I still love the z-cord aligns. I wasn't a z-cord guy before but I definitely am now. I have gotten numerous compliments on the grips as well. I try to spread the word when I play and almost everyone that holds the grip loves it.

Previously, I thought the align feature was a gimmick. Now I find myself missing it whenever I hold a grip that doesn't have it. It feels reassuring, and gives confidence in a square face.

I have found that the z-cords are holding up really well too. They still feel great since I've had them on and I haven't cleaned them at all.

Thanks for the feedback! Looks like I'll go ahead and grip one iron for now and see how I like it.

Old thread but for those of you who have tried the align grips, which one did you prefer between the TV, MCC, and Z? 
 

Also, as far as installing. I installed an mcc align last night, and it looks perfectly square to my eye. But the align ridge down the back, doesn’t align perfectly with the modus shaft logo going down the back of the shaft.

Is it suppose to in order for it to be square? Did I mess it up or is it not suppose to ping up directly with the rib? Appreciate any help!
