Yes. TS2 has a nice shape, looks inviting to hit.

My H1818's are money for me - old guy with 4 from 19 to 27. That said, it's golfwrx so I will almost certainly upgrade to the TS2's.

A 17 option in the TS2 would be awesome!

TM Sim Max 10.5 Ventus Red Senior
TM Sim Max 3 Ventus Red Senior
Cobra F9 17* Rescue Atmos Regular
TM Sim Max 19*, 25*, 28* Rescue Ventus Blue Senior
Cobra F9 7-SW Atmos Regular
Vokey SM6 62* T Kuro Kage stiff
TM Spider Tour Day
OUUL stand bag
Titleist Velocity or Callaway Softfeel

So right dude. I was initially interested in the sleeker driving iron but realized the ts2 is the gem

Will try the g410 19* to battle the ts2 19* later this summer. Although I love the headshape, specs and ability to adjust on both. It’ll be down to which feels better...

I’m so team driving iron but I think hybrids have made a big time comeback lately. These head shapes are awesome, hopefully they get that classic dense rescue feel back. Metallic tingy is very unpleasing with hybrid, and seems to have become the recent norm unless you heavy hot melt or play a super soft ball.

My tour b XD-h 18 is going to have some friends soon! Got a feeling Titleist will offer some sweet shaft upgrades too.

Check the Maltby playability numbers and as an example, the 718 AP2 blows everything away in its class......Callaway Apex Pro, Mizuno’s MP 18 MMC and SC, Taylor Made 760, etc.

Very interesting info to me, as I was ready to pick up Mizuno’s or Calloway’s.

What does that AP2 MPF advantage translate into for you?

An edge in forgiveness. Nothing big, but that little edge I need.

Agree with you there, although I do think the U500 look a bit more inviting, shall we say! ?

Many thanks for sharing the link, I found it very interesting reading. Would you not include the Mizuno JPX919 Forged in that shortlist? Personally, I was surprised that the MP18 (MB Blade) came in higher than the MP18 SC, let alone the JPX919 Tour to be as high as it was. I had to laugh that the TaylorMade P730 only just got on to the list.

The pictures look very nice. More immediately attractive than my first impression of the T-MB’s. But the T-MB’s grew on me. I saw a very surprising number of complete sets of T-MB’s in the bags of lesser-known qualifiers at Columbus.

I always have to see clubs in person to make any sort of serious appraisal. In addition to Titleist’s offset design, I very much liked the sole grind on the T-MB’s. Need to see that in hand with the U500/510.

The MP18 SC rating was a shocker as I thought they were very solid. But I’ve only hit them in a simulator. The 919 Forged are great irons, but I thought they were more Game Improvement than the others.

Anybody have any updates on when these will go to retail and what the stock hybrid shafts will be?

Consolidating from 19 and 23 degree hybrids into 21 degree. Thought about picking up an 818 with the recent price reduction but saw enough difference b/w 917F2 and TS2 in fairway that I’d like to wait.

I was very surprised at the SC also., especially since I think they are the best looking iron in the group. Reminded me of the old Nike Split Cavity that Dual and others played years ago.

I think the Forged and Hot Metals are more in the AP3 category.

I have benn increasingly tempted by the 919 Tours though.

But having had every version of the AP2’s, I think every issue has been an improvement over the previous, and look forward to what the T100 is like. If I don’t like them, it may be Mizuno time again!

I have wondered the same. I stocked up on Atmos HB Blue Hybrid shafts in case they didn't offer them in the TS2/TS3 heads.

Any word yet on the irons that will be offered in the U-Series? We will probably get a 5 iron, right? How bout a 6? These look like the best blending option for CB/MB
