8-P have a very unpleasant rounded hump (shovel like) look like they don’t belong with the rest of the set. Should be nice without all the markings, but can’t shake the “looks cheap” compared to previous models impression. Noticed put loft on P, does that mean a gap wedge is an option?

Simple but gorgeous. Hit a friend's 718 MBs last night and made me realise what I am missing. Harding is a fine player who has come in under the radar.

If I had to guess - it's so players can more easily match/gap their next wedge without having to look up the specs (lazy, but my guess). Also, 47 is kind of a unique loft. It's not 44 (strong), 46 middling, or 48 (traditional/weak). It's definitely different. I wouldn't be surprised if the sm8 (is that the next Vokey gen?) carries on this look of loft-on-toe

The Vokey's always had the loft on the sole towards the toe, now i'd be shocked if they added the letter P to it. I just think it's weird but I don't play anything made the last few years irons wise anyways so not really of concern to me. My next set will be National Custom and they'll stamp whatever I want on it lol.

Count me in with the team that believes the short irons are a beer f@rt. I understand the “blend into the Vokeys” line of thinking but don’t agree with it. Folks pestered Mizuno for years to have somebody with talent fix the look of their short irons - which they did. Titleist heading the wrong direction.

 

Additionally, it appears from the other threads that they have made the sole width in the CB line smaller and closer to MB size. As a guy who plays mostly soft courses and gets steep when he gets lazy, I preferred the two different sole options.

 

I’ve been in some model of AP2, CB, or MB since 2012 but ordered a new set of 919 Tours last week. Until these pictures posted, I was concerned I’d have buyers remorse. Not any longer...

I really love the satin look of these MB’s but what is going on with the curved topline on 7i-PW? I’m definitely not a fan.
