How to Let Go the Anger?

This guy isn’t anyone to worry about, he wasn’t going to hurt you. You have to show idiots like this who is in charge. I’m serious about all of the above.

Probably not the best advice. By trying to intimidate the guy, you are escalating a situation that has already passed. At that point, then, _you_ have become the aggressor, and he may decide to up the ante as well.

It sux that there are people like that, but reverse road rage isn't the answer. The answer is "let it go."

Letting it go has seriously negative outcomes - 1) it makes the type of behavior exhibited by the other driver acceptable. By letting it go we have given permission to drive wrecklessly then mock those who were wronged. 2) it negatively affected BB’s day. If he had “gotten even” he would have felt better about himself and likely played better than normal, not worse.

“Letting it go” has led us to an awful point in society. People are permitted to act like thugs and/or fools without fear of repercussion.

Okay, do it you’re way then. Others may want to consider mine.

Have to disagree on this. Admittedly I’m old now, but weed today is much more potent than it was during my high school days in the late 70’s. And as much as I still like getting messed up on occasion, it’s a little too scary for me.

OTOH, I am thinking about trying some CBD for the everyday old man aches and pains. ?.

In all seriousness, stepping back away from any situation (by whatever means) goes a long ways towards inner peace. Divorce yourself from a situation, and you might find that the whole thing is stupidly funny. Most interactions with other people are so silly and stupid and seem overly important. They are not. Let it go.

This is very difficult to do (I Know), but just remember this one completely grim and funny fact:

We All Die.

So in the end, you win!

Sorta.......

Grok?

Few things anger me more than someone following so close they could check you for polyps. Fortunately, the other things rarely occur. I'm sorry to say that my pea sized brain has not not provided an answer to how to deal with it. To those that say they can just laugh it off and let it go, good for you. I understand the anger and rage and wish I could do the same, however it isn't in my DNA.

I dont know where you are located, but around here (Houston area) that is a good way to get yourself shot. Someone follows me for that long, ESPECIALLY if they follow me to my house (or wherever I may be going) I'm pulling over and probably coming out of the truck with my pistol in hand.

To clarify though, I'm not driving like an idiot either. I drive a 4 door truck that isnt particularly nimble, so there is no cutting people off and driving like a moron going on here.

Bigred90gt as a lefty might be at a disadvantage exiting his truck unless maybe he points thru the rear window or exits from the passenger side. I would imagine however his big truck has a separating/dividing console between the drivers and passengers seats which would make that awkward. Assuming golfandfishing is a righty he also would be in an awkward position exiting his vehicle from the drivers side. (this is all assuming Bigred90gt is parked in front of golfandfishing). All things considered I would prefer to see them have a 'chip off' or something along those lines.

I'd much prefer a chip-off as well. I'm a decent shot, but I'm above average in chipping, lol.
