A family member stole my hot wheels and matchbox cars from our parent's house and sold them on eBay.

 

I got my old baseball/football cards out of my parent's place earlier this year. Remember when we were going to retire selling those? Granted the ones I'm talking about are too new for this thread, and some cards from the 60s still fetch some solid value. But I'm thrilled when I sell a team pack of 25 cards on eBay for $1.50 from the 80s/90s.

I had one of those hotwheel cases, and a bunch extra. Years ago showed them to some neighborhood kids and they were like interested for about 5.7 seconds. Got a couple this one's cool. And then they were gone. Ended up downsizing some and giving them to Goodwill. They weren't exactly in mint condition as I used them alot.

And in the Older than Dirt quiz I got a perfect 17. And now I am going to get drunk.

I’ve done it before, but not quite to the 70s Elvis extreme. It’s gonna be an odd school year for me, starting with paternity leave for half the fall semester. Might as well look funny when I get back.

Aint possible to play but I remember the villain making a crap swing, impact sounds like something Hogan could have produced. Connery had a good swing though, member of Pine Valley, right?

Oddjob must have been disappointed by the introduction of surlyn covers. Or did he die? I suppose he did.

Brings back memories. I moved into an area with newly built simple houses in the beginning of the 70`s. Just familys with kids, so there was a lot of guys with hotweel cars and we did compete. We managed to get hold of waterspouts, a lot of waterspouts. And at a loong slope we built a track that was like a mile long, or so it seemed to us. And had all kinds of competitions. Thats what amused kids before the computer era, and at a time when scandinavian TV had like 1 hour of TV per night interesting for kids. My parents didnt let me see Columbo until I became 10.

Sorry about the no playback. Yes the contact always sounded like the ball was flushed, and Bond electrorcuted Oddjob. I always loved the cronies who were willing to die for their boss's evil plan to succeed. I could stand to have a few of those guys around.
