Last minute weekend trip ideas for Michigan or Wisconsin???

A buddy of mine and I are looking to venture out the weekend of the 19th in July on a little couples getaway. We'd like to play a couple rounds of golf while staying somewhere the women can hit a spa and pamper themselves, then maybe some breweries/wineries for us to hit up in the evening. Our original plan was to head to Traverse City and try to play Arcadia while up there, Traverse City has a big event that weekend so it's no longer on the radar. I checked Lake Geneva and there's no availability at the big places there and I don't know enough about the other places. Any other area's in either state that might fit the bill? We'd like to play some more top end courses. Trying to stay within 4-5 hours along with not breaking the bank (hence Kohler is out lol). Thanks!

Gull Lake in Kalamazoo has six courses, though none are as good as Arcadia. Treetops is excellent and it’s slightly north of Traverse City. Grand Rapids has a couple of very good courses in Pilgrim’s Run and Thornapple Pointe. Not sure about a place for the wives though since neither are resorts.

You can check out Galena if you haven't been there? Though it isn't a "top" course the general is good. We go every year with a few couples, get a place with a hot tub. Drink a few too many with a fire under the stars, super peaceful.

Stay at the Boulevard Inn in St. Joe and play Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor. It’s a short drive.

Thanks for the advice, we canned the trip. We'd rather hold out and play the courses we want to rather than settle.
