During a practice round for the 1995 Masters I was sitting in the bleachers next to #15 with two old ladies in front of me. They had been coming for many years and they didn't know who any of the golfers were that came up to the green. They were waiting for one man, Arnold Palmer. Tiger will have those crowds and the tv coverage for the rest of the time he plays golf.

yeah i cant see rose and woodland screwing up any of the first 7-8 holes tomorrow. I really believe unless it blows those 2 will runaway with it. Woodland has been progressing to this point. hes 25th in the world right now, won in phoenix last year and was 36 hole leader at the PGA last year.He also almost won the tournament of champions in hawaii back in january Hes no fluke thats for sure. hes improved his wedges and putting so much. hes like top 10 in fedex points with 7 top 10s this year ( two 2nd place finishes among those). It feels like hes peaking at the right time. Having said that Rose showed alot of golf IQ out there today and his short game has been insane this week. it feels like hes due. Since 2015 hes had 3-4 legit chances at major #2. He looks so comfortable out there hard to believe he wont take it.

Interesting. If you hovered the mouse over the "Disagree", it used to show who had clicked it. Now it doesn't. But if you hover over the "Like" tab, the user names pop up.

So now people can be an anonymous snipers. Don't like that.

How can a golfer be in the lead at the US Open, one of golf's hardest and most difficult venues, and be remotely lucky to be there. To lead the US Open after 3 Rounds takes pure skill. Yes there may be a break here or there, but every golfer gets them, and are created by the golfer's skill in the first place.

No one is debating the skill of the guys out there. Most of the time you need luck to win a major. The wheels were coming off woodland on two separate occasions and the guy chipped in/hit a 40 foot putt for par. The difference between the ball going in and just being close to the hole from that distance is luck. Woodland SHOULD have shot 71 and be -9 today. The guy is one of the worst putters on tour yet is lapping the field in strokes gained this week. Law of averages says he falls back tomorrow.

Wow. That needs to be reversed. ASAP. Did you try it on the full size site on desktop ? I don’t think it ever worked on mobile. But did for me on laptop.

WOw. I’m going to ask about that ASAP. Shouldn’t be able to ride around doing any anonymous nonsense.

its true no one has ever caught fire with the putter and won a big event before in the history of the pga tour...

Lot of pars or worse looking the leaderboard. If you kept it even today, odds are, you moved up a little.
