I was with Stratton all day testing at PING tour wrx yesterday and in the putter lab he ended up going with this style PLD prototype head. His has the line on the top line and no line on the flange, It also is weighted to 355g instead of 350g. He tested three different ways both/only topline/only flange and liked the topline only best. His face is going to be cut with the TR grooves for a softer feel. He really liked this PLD lineup. He would have got a patina head Anser looking blade as well, but he has a custom one off blade 303ss that is really similar to the PLD blade. This photo is what an idea of what his putter will probably end up looking like. Not sure how or where they will add the weight to get the head to 355g. I am guessing pill shaped tungsten but not sure. Also unsure of how they will mill the TR grooves on the face. Saw a few that were like the concept photo but they also may cut them the full length of the face. This is how his topline will be however along with the hosel that he chose. He always likes to have a blade putter and a mid mallet in a rotation that he can switch to if need be.
