Especially since that is such a different shaft than the AD-DI he normally plays.

Because I’m not sure it’s actually a real think. Fujikura admitted on here once that Atmos X and TX are the same thing. I often wonder about others.

That is a prototype made before "TX" started being used, you can see the "70XTS" etched in the shaft denoting this. Also TX isn't a marketing ploy necessarily, it means different this for different companies. For Graphite Design it is actually a flex above their "X" flex models. For Mitsubishi Chemical it is their designation for X flex in their "Pro" higher end shafts whereas "Flex-X" is the stiffest their non-pro/OEM shafts are labeled. You won't see a Tensei Pro shaft labeled "Flex-X" for example and you won't see one of stock OEM offerings with "TX". Same thing for Aldila I believe. If Fujikura are saying they have just relabeled their X-flex shafts with "TX" then that is their approach, it doesn't reflect what the other companies are doing.

He's been gaming that 48 in place of the wedge from the set at least since 2013-2014.

I’m aware...I’m referring to him adding a 4th wedge to his setup (gap wedge). Was a 48 54 60 player.

No worries. I’m curious what he dropped for the extra wedge. He used to have the TMB and 680 3 iron, I would imagine he dropped the 680 3 irons.

Mostly agree BUT diamana does have x/tx in some models such as the BF
