Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this another attempt to mimic the 680 MBs? If I remember right, the 680MB had a slightly rounded top line in the higher lofted irons as well.

The chrome on these will have to be seen in person. Has an odd almost stainless steel look in pictures..

The CBs have really improved in the general looks department, seems like Titleist has been really chasing the 680 style with the last few MB releases. Not sure why they don't just re-release the 680s as their MB offering, blade technology hasn't really changed.

Really miss the “MB” and “Forged” on the back of them.

 

All jokes aside, these look perfect and after I’ve had the 712, 714, and 716’s I skipped out on the 718’s mostly because I loved the 716’s and hadn’t played that much golf, but these are sick and I’m going to be needing a set ? no change in the bag for 3 years, then these come out.

They look beautiful but I wonder why they polished (chromed) the steel on top of the muscle? Personally I would have preferred an all satin look. So we finally got rid of the ugly MB badging but added an area of chrome that visually splits the club head into sections??? Perhaps I’m mistaken but that’s what it looks like in the pics. It’s still a beautiful iron but in my opinion that chrome area is the only design blemish on an otherwise impressive and aesthetically perfect MB design.

It might just be a touch of flash to add in. I personally don’t mind it, and think it looks pretty nice. I also don’t really care what’s on the back of them as long as they perform well and feel great.

I have pals at Titleist in Canada.

I got the same question when I got my Blueprint order in ironically, it was before they were even "released to the public".

I’m pretty certain I could blend a few cb’s with the mb set, and 1 or 2 U500’s and never need another set (if I wasn’t mentally challenged)

Interesting that the loft is stamped into the sole of the PW, but no other clubs. Not sure why they've done that. Help blend it better with the wedges? They will offer PWs with other lofts? No idea.
