Ping G410 Max?

Anyone hear from reps or sources if a max version is coming out for 410 anytime? I not willing to give up even 5cc. lol

Put 2 weights in the 410plus..

 

That will give you the higher MOI

I have a feeling this is what will happen, drop the adjustable weight but gain the new adapter. There is room to bring up MOI closer to the 5900 max, the G400 max was around 5500.

That would be SO awesome. I don't need the adjustable weight actually. I like a neutral driver (miss it two ways anyways LOL).

While there IS room, I don't think it is enough for G400 MAX users to consider something else without an additional feature/perk. If they can hit 5,900g/cm2 and are within the 100g/cm2 tolerance limit then the difference between that hypothetical G410 MAX and the G400 MAX would be slightly less than the difference between the G400 MAX and the G Driver, a noticeable increase but nothing earth shattering.

 

I think the other concern is from a fitting standpoint. If you are right against the limit in stock form then changing out whatever weight is located rearward for fitting purposes to something heavier could push you into illegal territory. I feel like in order to get around that they would need to (confusingly) locate whatever the adjustable weight is further forward, like the G400 LST so changing that weight does not increase MOI.

A combination of a bit more MOI, the new adjustable hosel/adapter and more loft options (12 degree would be nice) would be enough for me. Having a 12 degree head plus the new loft sleeve would give fitters plenty of options to loft up or down to open or close the face and more loft combinations, plus the ability to flatten the lie angle.
