How to handle a trade on this new site??

I’m in middle of trying to work out an even trade for a driver head for a driver head, no money being exchanged. What is best system to make sure nobody is getting scammed when there is no PayPal exchange and no insurance. Since we have no feedback to look at, it is a bit of gamble that both sides are honest

You each buy the other driver from each other via PayPal. Only downside is you are out the fee but it will give you each protection.

Currently, the best way to execute a trade is to not trade. Literally, you’re just taking the other guy’s word for it. Unless you want to exchange money on PayPal, which I personally think sucks and defeats the purpose of a trade. But to each their own - it’s your stuff, do what you want with it. But you may want to skim through this forum, first.

I just recently did a trade on here. The key is to do your research. If you can find the other party’s transactions with others you can pm them for some feedback.

Don’t do it unless it’s someone you’ve dealt with before. Only way to be safe for sure.

This might be a bit much, but I guess you could put the user id of the person you are working with out and see if others have had dealings with them. Basically what feedback did, but might be the best way if you are really wanting to do trade.

He is not even responding anymore after I asked how he would like to do the trade. I said we could pay each other same amount on PayPal and he could look up my feedback on another golf site that still has it up and I’m a member. He does have a eBay username under his profile and a couple said he was hard to communicate with. Guess they were right. I am just trying to switch driver heads without having to purchase and have one sitting around till I sell old one. Wish this site would go back to normal, I LOVED the old site. Thanks for all your help everyone

An alternative you can use is HEATWare, a few computer forums I use expect users to have a HEATWare account. You can essentially list feedback for online purchases there. I am thinking I will start using my account again since the feedback system is MIA here. Unfortunately it is another system you need to have a profile for, but a lot of forums use it.
