Looking for Golf Pro recommendations

Hoping this is the right place as there is club fitting recommendations here. Looking for Golf pro recommendations. Threw away $50 and an hour of my time at the local course. Hoping for someone with some tech to back up their advice. Located on the cape but willing to travel to the plump th area.

I had great luck fitting woods with a rep from Titleist. He was way more knowledgeable and had the equipment that a club pro would never have. We went through matching shafts, club heads, lie angles. Ended up with a 74 gram Rogue shaft tipped a half inch, 8.5 driver half a degree open. Need expertise to work out that one, and its the favorite club in my bag.

I believe they have a faculty at their HQ in Acushnet which is just off cape for you.

On the cape try Dave Donellan, think he has an indoor facility with video, track man, etc. Also, instructs out of Hyannis golf and Old Barnstable to get outdoor time

I would try Adam Kolloff at Pure Drive Golf in Woburn. I have gone to Adam for a couple lessons this season and he really helped me out. Lessons are a bit pricey, $150 for an hour, but it is absolutely worth it. Only issue is, the secret is out about Adam and you usually have to book a month or so in advance. His facility at Pure Drive is amazing as well, trackman in every bay, he has rear and side cameras to do a full breakdown of your swing, and he doesn't try to reinvent your swing, just tweak things to get your more consistent.

You need to figure out what you want from your pro first and the style of lesson as well. Some are casual in their approach and others are more 'tough' in their demeanor. I've had good luck with Charlie Estes (Sandy Burr and other locations) and Gary Cardoza (Joe and Leighs Performance Center). Go to Charlie for a more relaxed, fun lesson and conversation. Go to Gary for the addition of Trackman analysis and video, etc. which adds more to the lesson. Both are very good, it just depends on what you may be looking for in a lesson. I've also heard that Kohr Golf is pretty good as well. But remember that the lesson is only as good as the work you put in afterwards with practice.
