It's the extra half groove that makes it look more rounded. I think the shape is identical

Too bad the ES sole was a great integration of new and old. The new Eye2s actually look worse than the originals. Bizarre leading edge, ugly high toe, horrible attempt in offset. Better get a couple of ES Stealths before they are gone. Triple ?

I'm the same. I used the originals (SW and LW) and still have various Eye 2 XG/Gorges lying around.

Shocking to see an Eye2 update and not sure I really like it. With that said, would have to see it in person. I'm open to being pleasantly surprised.

The last I heard is that they were running out and production had stopped with the 2.0s. You're going to have to search a bit to find some I'm afraid.

Most mortals can't use a 64. But then again, you're not mortal! :) But hey, we'll find out in a few weeks. But I've never seen PING make a 64 outside of a Tour Van.

Damn, really looked forward to this release but the rounded leading edge and the appearance of more offset are a deal breaker for me. I’d honestly love if they made a 54/56/60 the same way they made the i210 U wedge

I played an original Eye 2 in the 80’s as a junior golfer. Played the Eye 2 XG and Gorge models and didn’t like the ES (eye sole) models as well. Definitely going to try the 58 in this new release of the Eye 2 design.

I agree that the Glide Eye 2's are far from pretty but I've got to give them a try. I used to be able to get up and down from almost anywhere with my old Eye2+ SW and LW.

I had my Eye2+ SW and LW re-tumbled by Ping and I put them back in my bag.

Is there any reason I should even consider moving to any of the Glide wedges?

Ah, old school data. Long before I was a PING player and worked in golf. I figured someone would correct me if I was wrong.
