Scotty Cameron custom putter

Should have seen the putters he made for celebrities with precious stones. Stamps are nothing comparing to whose "custom" putters.

If I owned a smaller putter company I would get this putter, or borrow one, and basically copy the entire thing. Except the logos of course. You could sell tons of them at $400-500 each and nobody could stop you.

What’s the big deal? Looks like any other Scotty just with some stamping. I can think of 40 other putters I would take before this. A Lamb Crafted putter makes that thing look like it came off the rack somewhere. Flame away lol

I rolled a button back this weekend, nothing magical about it except Koepka notched 4 majors with one.

Problem is you’d have to sell around where Byron does at $1100-1500 to make a profit. It’s not as easy as pushing buttons. And even the button pushing carries a lot of overhead. There’s hours of hand work in most heads including finish and stamps. The stamping isn’t just 3 min of work. I’m not trying to justify the $4k prices. I’m just saying $500 would be a big time loser every sale. Think about grip , shaft , head cover , translucent paints , hourly wages , and all the other overhead that a business requires. Cost has to be $700 plus by the time you factor it all in. Remember. You can’t do mass production numbers as a small shop. So you’re paying a premium per head for cnc work.

I know everyone says they sell these at the Gallery. However, I disagree. The stuff coming out of the Gallery is “blinged” up in my opinion. I cannot find a clean 009M SSS with a sight line and very minimal stamping. 009M, Tour Only and that’s it....no surfer, peace sign, Hot Head Harry, Encinitas....

Yep. Mostly true. But that’s a last couple years ( since the 009m intro) happening. You can still find loads of mint and simple 009 and NP2 heads for sale that have never seen tour use. So they are still trading hands retail. Just second or third owner. But still new

Oh I just always assumed that my putter is up to the United States military standards for putting world domination. That's at least what i tell people.
