15 years in the making

After golfing for a little more than 15 years, I finally got it...my first hole in one. 140 yard par 3 with a cut 9 iron, downwind as well as I don't normally have golfwrx type distance. One hop and the ball started trickling to the hole. My playing partner is the one that saw it go down as I was already putting my club back in my bag. My first hole in one and I can't even say that I saw it go in the hole!! Ugh, still cool but I'm watching the ball until it's done moving from now on

Congratulations! I got my first one after about 44 years of golf couple months ago even though I had lot of full shot holeouts for eagles. Didn't see my ace go in because it was an uphill hole.

 

I wanted to make sure you got congratulated because when I mentioned my ace, I got zero congratulations. Great shot!

I didnt really see mine either. Luckily there was a group standing on the tee behind our green and they started yelling. Great feeling leaving the flat stick in the bag, picking ball out of the hole and just going to the next tee. Only to get a double bogey the next hole to cancel out that eagle... I love this game even though it can be cruel??!!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I shot a 37 that nine with the ace...defianately a bright spot lol

Welcome to the club! I saw mine. 130 yards, straight at the pin, one bounce, a yard of roll and it just dropped out of sight. I just stood staring at the pin for half a minute because it had looked unreal, like it was on a string or something.
