The finals ended last night with the Toronto Raptors being crowned champions, the draft is next week, and we have the most anticipated free agency of all time starting 6/30!

Too many possibilities to even process. I hope Toronto stays together for another run because it would be fun.... but if they all went their separate ways, everyone would understand.....Ujiri built a team of mercenaries, traded their most loyal player and tried to trade their second most. Toronto and Canada will always love the team, they became "our team" , and they'll live forever in Canadian lore. But man, if Kyle Lowry wanted to slash Masai's tires i'd understand LOL.

Not sure why the rockets are trying to get Jimmy butler. I don't think giving up Gordon and capella for him makes them better. I think many teams hurt themselves making big moves like this instead of fine tuning what they already have. Adding a key role guy here and there.

Kinda funny that a Klutch sports client would waive a 4M dollar free money trade kicker, after all the posturing Lebron has done about the greedy owners. But i guess when it benefits Lebron.....Will be interesting to see if Anthony Davis "Space Jam" contract gets raised by roughly 4M dollars in the next few months

 

Anyway, I wonder if the Lakers will use the max money on multiple guys rather than a third star. I never liked Kevin Love as a 3rd wheel in Cleveland, because they didn't need scoring with Irving and James and the same is true here

 

I'd fear the Lakers more if rather than a Kemba walker, they got 3 guys like (i don't know, for example) Bojan Bogdanovic, Danny Green, and like Dorian Finney Smith or something like that. A couple of hard nosed defenders and a very good all around player.

Hard to saw what happens over the next few days.

I think Klay stays in Golden State, KD goes to the Knicks, Kyrie to the Nets, Kawhi stays in Toronto, and Jimmy Butler stays in Philly. Curious how many out of that big 5 I get correct. Al Horford is the one guy I'm keeping an eye on. He is a bigger difference maker than folks realize.

Darren Collison retiring here in Indy makes me think we basically have to resign Corey Joseph. I don't see us being very active this off season (we never are and it kills me on the inside), so I think they have to bring back a quality guy to start for us. Holiday showed glimpses, but I don't think he is ready to be the man.

D’Angello - Hard to say. If Lakers don’t get Kawhi I think he does do LAL. Otherwise Minnesota or Indiana

Kawhi to Lakers. He grew up around there. Does Kawhi desire to beccome a Clippers legend or Lakers legend? He gets to play with Lebron and KD which will save years of hard wear and tear. He gets more rings. Helloooo!!!!!!!

Looking back on Kawhi's decision to take his time coming back from his injury turned out to be a wise wise move. Look at what happened to Isaiah Thomas. Dude gives it his all, plays through injury, then Celtics give him the boot (inside knowledge on logevity) and he is permanently hampered and going to various teams short term. Or look at what happened to KD.

The Kawhi thing is just crazy overall though. There are literally zero rumors right now. Lowe said on his podcast the other day that there is honestly no one in the industry that has any inside knowledge. He's a complete mystery. We know there's 3 teams meeting with him and that's it
