Best most comfortable golf shoes

Looking to get some nice golf shoes...comfort is big. Even tho I ride I tend to walk a lot observing and evaluating....recommendations ......

I am a big fan of the Sketchers shoes. They look like old man shoes but their performs is amazing. I prefer to walk when I play so good comfortable/quality shoes are important to me. I tried Ecco’s and yes, they are comfortable too but the shoes fell apart WAY too fast for the money that you spend on them. To say that I was disappointed in the quality would be an understatement. I saved Biom shoes for good course and the soles where you flex literally fell apart. Not cool. Save the money and try Sketchers. Go to a golf store and try them on. You have to at least give them a try. What do you have to lose?

I’ve had Footjoys and Nike shoes and never really tried other brands. Thanks for the two recommendations . I’ll look into both..

Totally depends on your foot type and size. I recently got some Puma Ignite nxt lace shoes. SUPER comfortable but spikeless. If you can find any of the adidas tour knit 360, they’re also very comfortable.

 

I feel like most major brands probably make a super comfortable shoe now in some style. It’s all about getting what fits your foot the best.

Truly comfortable golf shoes are custom made. For the average golfer, go to your local golf store and try on as many pairs of golf shoes as you can.

Each one of us has a different definition of "comfort". It is a very individual issue.

If you need waterproof, I just got a pair of Air Max 1 G and they are extremely comfortable after a short break in period.

Whatever fits your foot when you actually try them on. Its fine to get recs online but you will never know what's comfortable to you until you actually put them on your foot.

I've been wearing the Nike Tour Premieres. As long as you go 1/2 size up. I think they're very comfortable.

I take the opportunity to "bag" Sketchers whenever I can, decent enough in terms of comfort, 1/10 for durability.

To add to that, go to a reputable running store, get them to check your arches. I replace all my insoles and have boost, like walking on a pile of kittens!

I have Nikes, Eccos, Adidas, Footjoy and Skechers shoes. Out of my collection, the top 3 most comfortable are:

 

1. Nike Air Zoom 90 IT

2. Skechers Go Golf Pro V4

3. Ecco Biom Hybrid 2

Nike Roshe G's ....not waterproof but super lightweight and super breathable. Best bang for your buck at $80

The original Pro SL were great for walking and I walk almost 225 rounds a year. I get nothing but blisters from the Gen 2 version. Back to Boost!

The adicross boost are awesome and simple. The new Linkswear Tru nit is super comfortable. Have a few pairs of both of these and will probably reup.

I got some Truelinkswear Originals recently and did not find them to be that comfortable. I’ve had numerous Skechers and they’re decent. I wouldn’t describe any of the dozens of Footjoys I’ve had as comfortable. Nike are ok. I would have to say the most comfortable golf shoes I’ve ever had are Adidas with boost. I’m not crazy about the narrow toe box of Adidas though. Still waiting for a golf shoe as comfortable as a common running shoe.

Foot joy tour S BOA or Helix BOA. And a year or 2 down road, maybe something goes wrong, something as small as an string eyelet coming loose, no receipt, no original box, everything on shoe totally worn out, no questions, they pay the shipping and return, new shoes. Best customer service, haven’t had to buy a shoe in 4 years. Not that they are an inferior product I am very hard on shoes and I walk 7 miles four days a week on the golf course and That’s throughout the year .

Air Zoom 90 IT and Flyknit G. Same cushioning setup and traction. I can walk 18 and carry bag and feet do not hurt at all.

Ecco. I’d say adidas samba golf shoes but they aren’t around anymore. Those are my shoes of choice at golf and casually

Ecco is fine, but their quality control is do do. I hope to be able to return a pair I have only had a few months. The sole is coming apart. May go Dry Joys for my next pair..
